"Hime Shoryuken" - "Princess Dragon Punch"

Inspired by the tweet that the showrunners couldn't show Twilight punch Tirek in the face in the finale. It sort of escalated from there, to a simple "Twilight punches Tirek" to "Twilight Shoryukens Tirek" because there's no better facepunch than that, to "Twilight goes through the entire sequence of Ryu's Metsu Shoryuken in comic form". Which is sort of what you see here.

And it took well over a month because a comic of this caliber needed lots and lots and lots of skethes, retries, new effects, old effects, and pretty much all the tricks I knew, plus a few I didn't. I shot way over my skill level with this ambition, and it does kind of show. Could be better... if it wasn't made by me. But it is and this is what you get.

I'm a little unsure what to do with this thing since the groups I usually submit to aren't keen on violent images, and, well, can't really draw someone getting punched in a non-violent way... If anyone has a suggestion, feel free to say so.

The shouting font is "I Want My TTR!", free to use for noncommercial purposes.
The entire image was drawn on paper, then in Manga Studio 5, which does panels like this really well. (Well, duh!)

Princess Twilight Sparkle and Lord Tirek are owned by Hasbro. The Metsu Shoryuken is a move from Capcom's Super Street Fighter IV and every later iteration of Street Fighter IV.
